We are proud to be a family-orientated school, so we offer a Kindy Unit programme on our main 樱花直播appPrimary School campus, as well as long day care Kindy rooms at the Early Learning Centre.
The Long Hours Kindy programme is based at the 樱花直播appEarly Learning Centre which is located on Reservoir St, near the main 樱花直播appcampus. The Centre is open from 6:30am to 6:00pm Monday - Friday, including school holidays. Children are provided with nutritious meals and snacks prepared by dedicated 樱花直播appkitchen staff. Children must be enrolled for a minimum of three days per week in this programme.
Children enrolled in the Long Hours Kindy programme will participate in specialty classes such as Dance, Physical Education and Music on the main 樱花直播appcampus. This means that our students are part of the wider school community, helping them make a seamless transition into 樱花直播appPrep when the time comes.
The 樱花直播appSchool Based Kindy Unit operates from a dedicated classroom within the Beasley Centre, which is located in the Primary School on the main 樱花直播appcampus. The Kindy Unit follows standard school hours and school holidays to help parents make the most of family time at home. Children are required to bring their own morning tea and lunch. Bookings operate on either a full time or five day/fortnight schedule.
Children enrolled in the School Based Kindy Unit will participate in classes such as Dance, Physical Education and Music, provided by specialty 樱花直播appteachers. This means that our students are part of the wider school community, helping them make a seamless transition into 樱花直播appPrep when the time comes.
The 樱花直播appEarly Learning Centre and Kindergarten Unit are proud to be part of the Queensland Government's Free Kindy programme. From January 2024, children in the Long Hours Kindy programme will receive 15 hours of free Kindergarten per week (for 40 weeks), while children in the School-Based Kindy Unit will receive a total of 600 hours of free Kindergarten over the year.
